Raed Koshaba Concert

Dear friends,

with this mail I want to announce an interesting aoud concert to you:

Sonntag 26.Oktober 2008, 11:15 Uhr
Kunstpalais Badenweiler
Raed Koshaba, Bagdad/Aachen

Raed Koshaba comes from the famous baghdad aoud shool of Munir Bashir, Jamil Bashir and his teacher was Salem Abdul Karim. He was for years a member too of the ensemble "Al Bayrak" of Munir Bashir. For several years now he lives in germany and teaches in Liege/Belgium. He can be heard all around the world in concerts and on festivals. In youtube you will find 5 videos with him.

Last summer I made a copy of his Instrument ( made by Mohammed Fadel in 1986 - it is the model Munir Bashir himself played it ). He will play one or two pieces on this instrument in that concert. Furthermore I will exhibit 3-4 of my instruments during this concert ( Mohammed Fadel models, Naseer Shamma Model ).

On my website you will find more detailed informations. If you like to come from far away to this concert it is recommended to make a ticket reservation under the following number:
0049 (0) 7632 82 32 40, Café Artik im KunstPalais Badenweiler e.V., Blauenstr. 2, 79410 Badenweiler

With best regards
your

Matthias Wagner
