Are you sure the maker is not abu Alla?
that is what happened last time you asked about a maker of an oud , you asked the question, you caused alot of unnececcary bad feelings amongs people
and then you disappeared .

I'm pretty sure its is an oud by MUSTAFA COPÇUOĞLU in Istanbul ... website is -

I would say that now would be a god time to get one from him as he appears to be working without helpers - so your oud is made entirely by the master.
I had thought of getting one from him but I ordered from Tasos Theodorakis in the end (and am very happy with the results). You are right though,
the sound is fabulous.

This particular oud is not from Mustafa Copcuoglu.
Its true that Necati Celik prefers Mustapha´s ouds but this oud is quite old.I cant remember the maker (maybe Hadi usta) but i remember Hank Levin
mentioning it in the old kairarecords oud forum..
Actually Necati´s solo CD Yasemin is recorded with this oud.

Its right.
This oud was built from the Göktepe family. And they live in Ankara not in Izmir. Their shop is called -Can Muzik- in town centre -Kizilay-
