Here's a link to the ebay auction.... I just read that the sting length from nut to bridge is 24''v (60 cm) so I'm assuming this is a turkish our right?

It is Arabic.

turkish scale lenght is 58.5 or 59

Thanks for the help.. I acutally decided not to bid since the seller's intention is to ship the oud in the case without any additonal packing or even putting the case inside a larger box... Just seems like a headache waiting to happen. And I got some resistance to the notion of doing a better job packing.... Thought it wasn't worth his time... but when asked about guaranteeing safe arrival I got a "you can purchase insurance if you want to..."

So I didn't think it was worth the hassle...

Boral, thanks for the link... Not sure how I missed it.
