Need a fixed bridge arabic Oud

I have a Fadi Matta Floating bridge oud and its great, but the floating bridge sound can't be applied to everything so I'm looking for a nice fixed bridge arabic Oud. I'm considering getting Faruk to build me one but while I wait for him to reply to my email I might as well see whats out there. I've got an open mind, show me what you got.

So you are seeking a top quality professional oud right? Since you will be asking Mr. Faruk.. which means that you have a relatively good budget. If so tell me.. a friend of mine wants to sell his oud..

And since you mentioned Fadi Matta.. I will be asking him to make me a new oud this summer. What did you like about your floating bridge oud? And what didn't you like? What do you mean its sound can't be applied to everything? Can you describe it's sound? Does it have any metallic sound? Can you post some pictures and sound files? I really need to take some feedback from players of Fadi's ouds.

Thanks :)

Yes My Budget is reasonably good Reda. What does your friend have? Fadi's oud is great but mine has three soundholes and a half maple (or some other bright wood) back so this along with the floating bridge can make it sound somewhat bright. Its a really cool kind of bright, but I just would like to have the depth and ease of mind of a fixed bridge Oud as well. If you give me your email adress i'll be glad to send you a really nice recording I did with it a while ago and some pictures.

and call me vain but the Matta Oud is completely unadorned. Its beautiful for that exact reason, but I kind of want a Oud with some bling on it too...
