Yes, I agree: wonderfull taqsim.
Amazing deep sound also.
Someone knows the maker?
And more about the player?
Thanks for the post, Sabassi.

Hi Francis,
Kamal is a guy (friend) from Casablanca Morocco. And the ud is made by Majid, the right hand of Khalid Belhaiba.
you can see both of them here http://www.belhaibaoud.com. Belhaiba make mazing sounding uds, and this ud was at that time about 2 weeks old.

I read the recent posts here about Mr Belhaiba ouds, and listen to the tunes around Said Chraibi....
This oud sound great.......and his sound is at his begining!
Is this one a new or special model? I didn't see it in The website?

This oud is made for one of his friends, it is a custom desire of his friend. Even the (bowl) wood is made from the old railway heavy wood that they used in the old time.

GREAT PLAYING!
and the oud sounds absolutely fantastic!

This raqma design is the same one used by Fauzi Monshed in Basra Iraq.

That was awesome! It's great to see a young guy playing in that old school, tarab way. Absolutely loved listening to this. I need to pour me a drink and listen to this again, then go smoke some sheesha!
