It's something like "Baker Dagher" and sons.. if you shoot the lable from another angle to show all the letter it gets clearer. He's Egyptian.

Congratulations :)

I used to own a dagher oud. There are many many dagher ouds. But some of them are good. They are usually sturdy enough. But the ones I tried didn't have the best sound. Good sound for their price, though.

Out of curiousity, how much did this cost you? My old dagher oud cost me about $150 in Riyadh.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I don't know how much she paid for it , it was a gift. The back of the instrument was cracked on its way here
and was fixed by Najib Shaheen who said an oud like that would cost 400-500 dollars in the states.
He said it sounds good and so did my teacher who loves it.

hi,
we have to distinguish the abdo dagher oud (they are the best and they are more rare) and the khidr dagher and the bikr dagher.
i can say that the abdo dagher are very very good.
