Thanks Chris...
In BOLAHANK -which is the most common tuning in Turkey- hicaz, ussak, and bayati etc use E as a tonic
In KIZ tuning, which is 2nd most common tuning in Turkey... maybe almost most common these days, that E tonic will be B.
Does anyone know if it is easy for a silver flute player to shift over to ney? Any suggestions?Aymara - 12-2-2009 at 01:15 PM
