That is amazing !!! and really a piece of technical genius and fantastic demonstration by you guys. Have you come across any problem with neck become loose with time or has this system failed? Do you have to treat this kind of oud differently in any way? I have tried to find a web site for Fadi Matta but he only has a face book site and I feel an oud maker of this calibre should have a proper web site. Many thanks for your post.

Oud number 1 in which Fadi made the first adjustable neck is the one with Baasem Rizk

this was about 10 years ago. As far as I know no one has reported that the system has failed in 10 years.
Very soon Fadi will launch his website :)

Last time we talked he said it's a matter of days and the website is on
Also last time we talked was to send us that oud :) a lager bowl, 37cm, 6 courses, Rosewood/maple bowl and spruce top.
