FoMRHI (Fellowship of Makers and Restorers of Historical Instruments) was established in 1975 with the objective of publishing an informal free
exchange of information between makers, restorers and researchers of historical instruments of all kinds - stringed and wind (including some about the
oud).
After a hiatus of six years, between 2002 and 2008, the fellowship is 'up and running' again.
The other good news is that all of the past issues of the FoMRHI Quarterly publications are now available for free download from:

Lots of good stuff - some speculative and philosophical, others covering 'hands on' practical experiences. All concerned with preserving historical
instruments for posterity.
