strings for pontic lyra?

stos - 6-22-2011 at 12:57 PM

Hello everybody!

I'm usually an oud player but my cousin found an old pontic lyra in his home and decided to give it me as a present (because i'm the only one (trying to) playing music)

So, I'm sorry to disturb the forum,

but I thought maybe somebody would have an idea where to find on the internet (I live in France)
some pontic lyra strings?

I didn't get the lyra yet, I will receive it during the summer, but I'm pretty sure it will need new strings,

Thanks a lot!

And some pictures of your present of course.

Et des photos de ton cadeau bien entendu.

I've been told that two violin A strings and an acoustic guitar high E string work, and that's what I use on my lyra.
