Wow. Amazing. I'm only a couple minutes in and I love it. Have you tried dropping the extreme highs to clean up the hiss?
Interesting note about this Dr. Gohar: he apparently hosted Wadi El Safi and other friends in the 60s which is where Wadi Played Al Atlal on the oud.

Your Welcome my friend, I will post more in the future of real old music. It just take a some effort to compile a movie from an MP3.
ameer - 2-8-2012 at 11:07 AM
Hey Samir. If I can help with these recordings in any way please let me know. I love this kind of material and too often we see recordings get
slaughtered during the compression or recording phases.
Brian Prunka - 2-8-2012 at 12:18 PM
Personally, I'd rather just have the mp3!
ameer - 2-8-2012 at 12:33 PM
Me too. Far more useful as you can put it on your portable device, try and enhance it, etc.
sabbassi - 2-9-2012 at 03:38 PM
He Ameer, Brian,
If you are interested in the Mp3's I can share some with you of Sunbati, and other old stuff. I just need to organise my drive
ameer - 2-9-2012 at 04:07 PM
I would love it. I anxiously await the moment when you can get around to organizing all that stuff. From experience I know that it can take a while
sometimes.

I would love it as well. Thank in advance!
sabbassi - 2-9-2012 at 11:38 PM
I will see how to provide an ftp location for an amount of time
ameer - 2-10-2012 at 03:06 AM
Look into something like 4shared. Not only is it searchable but it allows you to stream the file before download.
londonoudi - 2-10-2012 at 03:38 AM
I would also be very grateful for the mp3s. 4shared is great as Ameer said.
