I promised suggested metronome markings for my transcriptions. They are only suggestions, since the metronome wasn't invented by Maezel until
Beethoven's time.
Bach bouree from lute suite quarter = 69
Handel duet from Judas Maccabeus quarter + 84
Bach minuet from 1st cello suite quarter = 60
Paisello "Nel cor..." quarter = 120
Chopin etude quarter= 100 (with lots of vibrato)
Bach "Bist du bei Mir" quarter=56
Bach "Jesu Joy ..." quarter =48
For those with more advanced technique I really recommend the Bach Lute Suites in the edition for guitar by Ariel Publications
