Agree with Charlie! frastrating not to have a text!
Of course we all awar of Mr. Faruk's reputation, and heard his good ouds (I have only heard them on youtube :-) ).
But, dubai244, with all respect, I think we will be unfair with lots of good makers by saying he is the best in the world. Don't you agree? I personly
think that Jameel Khalaf's double sound board oud is as fine as Faruk's. And remember that Jameel has only made ONE double sound bord oud!! 
By the way, I heard your playing on Youtube. Beautifull oud, and very nice play!
