Anybody knows what kind of oud Anouar Brahem uses? Who is the maker of his ouds?
Thanx

Hello Luttgutt,
I supose he owns several instruments, but once I met him, he told me after the concert that this is somewere from egypt and it was changed. I suppose
the soundboard has been changed.
Hope someone knows more
Best regards

Thanks a lot guys!
I might be mistaken, over the years, I think I have only seen him playing 2 Ouds (that I assumed was made of one and the same maker). According to
what you are saying, it might have been the same oud I have seen (before and after the change). But in that case, he must have also changed the finger
board!
Ziad, I am impressed by your information! How come you know so much?!
Yes, I would love to have his adress (since it will take long time before Jameel will have time to make me a oud)
