Hi Awad!

I have had Alice Violin strings and they seem decent quality for the price (I think they were about £2!!). I don't know if they last long because I don't play my Violin as much as my Oud. Please let us know how the strings are, I was going to buy some for my Moroccan Oud that has very old strings.

Hi Mat,

Hope you're ok, we'll see about Alice:D just trying to decide which oud the go on and will share the findings, I a bit hesitant when it comes to strings, I have no complaint about my current choices of Aquila and Pyramids.

Stay tuned,

Cheers

I tried them on the 13 string I built, wasn't impressed at all. They are nothing special but for the price it was worth trying.

Hi Awad mate, I am loving my Shehata even more than before. It's amazing how much it's matured. The sound is less 'tinny' than before and more 'wholesome' (I'm sure there is a better word to describe it)...

Peter sends regards back to you too, and hopes everything is going well with you and your Ouding. And from me too. :airguitar:

See you next time.
