Total novice looking for info on Sentok Oud

I found this 11-string oud in an antique mall in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, for $40USD and couldn't resist buying it. It seems to be decent quality, but I'm thinking it's probably a student model, judging by the roughness of the inlay work and rosettes.

The label inside says
"Sentok
Musik Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret
Hulusi TOK
Tel 576 99 36
Demirciler Carsisi Seymen Sok. No: 5 Bayrampasa ISTANBUL

The "bowl" and back of the neck are shellaced with a semi-gloss, but the soundboard, fingerboard, peg head and pegs are unfinished wood. Would you recommend shellacing them or should I leave them raw?

Anything you can tell me about this oud will be appreciated.

Here are photos of my mystery oud. Hope this works.

Can you tell me anything about this oud?

Do NOT shellac anything. Especially not the face.

The whole pegs neither, unless you know what you are doing, as they rely on friction.

Post pictures of this Turkish oud and we can see what's what.

This is a good oud, leave it alone.

Thanks for the advise. I will not varnish, etc. Just new strings. What do you suppose it is worth? More than the $40 I paid, I'm guessing. String action is nice and low and there is no buzzing or loose braces.
