I have just published an online ebook for Oud Repair All the info is on the site, you can see a 3 page sample free, the complete book is 85 pages so far, with more than 150 topics. It
will be updated regularly with new topics, pictures and videos. It has search and navigation controls, and linked contents pages.
You can view 3 sample pages, but to get the complete ebook you'll need to buy an activation key. Y\With the key you can download it as many times as
you like to get the updates. You can also send a copy of the ebook to someone else to view the sample pages.

Not familiar with ebooks, however, so can this be only viewed on line or can the whole book be saved to my PC for viewing offline? A question for
those of us who do not have access to high speed Internet.

You'll need to download and install a reader plugin first. The ebook is a file that you download to your computer. The pictures and videos are stored
on a webserver to keep the ebook file small, then they are downloaded when you access the page to view them. The ebook file can be saved on your
computer, and downloaded again to get the updates.

I have just added about 9 videos dealing with peg fitting, neck repair rose gluing and clamping and sanding thin plates.

That looks great Dr.Oud! If I wanted to know anything about building Oud's this is what I'd get, but for now, I'd rather just learn to play properly.
Maybe later on in my Oud life though.

I have not read it all yet.. and probably wouldn't want to finish reading it :P
But I can tell it is a great resource! I would definitely recommend it.. not only for oud builders/repairers, but also just for players like me since
it gives a lot of information about the different parts of the oud, how they interact and affect the instrument and its sound, and how to maintain it
without being in need of a major repair, and much more.

The ebook is intended for all oud owners - players as well as repair or building. There are a lot of topics dealing with routine maintenance,
adjustments and care of the oud. Another use would be for players who need repair but don't have an oud technician nearby - the relavent topics and
pictures in the ebook can be printed as instructions for a guitar or violin repair technician to follow.
