Hi Chris, its a nice number indeed. Would you have the score for oud and lyrics by any chance? regards MWkatakofka - 10-26-2009 at 01:29 PM
this is a tunisian folklore that Lotfi boshnak spread in most of his recital http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmSNbn8VFJw&feature=related
Lotfi does in normally on the C minor Scale ( Eflat, B flat). Sameh is doing it (the oud too of course) on a D minor Scale or Kord on A ( Bflat).
Choose any of these scales, take the scale as a GPS and I am sure you guys
you can do this song MatthewW - 10-27-2009 at 02:17 PM

Hi Souheil- thanks for the info and link and yes I'm sure we could do this lovely song, I was asking about the notes/lyrics in case I had a chance to
play it with other musicians and maybe even a singer, showing them a score to follow would be cool. I could sit down and try and figure it out note
by note, but being a bit lazy I was hoping that a score would already be out there somewhere! cheers, MWfrancis - 10-30-2009 at 04:14 AM
Hello.
I would like to get sheet for this beautiful tune. Thanks Souheil for scales indications, it's a good help and after playing the tune is easy.
But I don't memorise quickly songs which are not in my native language, even if they are simple: it must be a cultural use; and learning "with my
eyes" is the best way for me in this case.
And as Matthew says, may be we are a little bit lazy after passing time on this fabulos forum which gives answers so quickly!
