I got this Oud from Egypt. It is made by Sayed Fathi Amin (son of Fathi Amin). Here are some pics and a sound file (still a beginner though). Comments
are welcome.

Thanks guys. The bowl is made of Rosewood, pegs are from ebony, and the Oud came with Pyramid strings (although I had to add strings for the first
course). The Oud is tuned to Mi-La-Re-Sol-Do-Fa.
Anyone knows this Oud maker?

Congratulations, Saddas.
Sayyed Fathi Amin is one of the best luthiers in Egypt. I have one of his ouds.
I do suggest that you order LaBella Strings from:
http://www.khalafoud.com/strings.htm
You will be amazed with the results !
Also, if you replace the nut with a good quality bone one, the sound output will be more than impressive.
You did well. Alf Mabrouk !
