Pyramid Strings
OK, here's my question:<br />
I bought couple of sets of Pyramid strings # 650. <br />
The set states (with a sticker on the plastic wrap):<br />
1 set # 650/11<br />
Aoud 11 strings<br />
with <b>Fa - 6th</b><br />
Suggesting that the 11th string is for the F note (?). <br />
All the strings I see online however, by Pyramid, shows tunning of<br />
<u> C | F | A | D | G | C</u>
So, my question is, how do I know how to tune with the strings I bought? low F, or low C?
Thanks,

Hello,
these cheaper sets by Pyramid are only set up for the classical arabic tuning ( c - C ) If yopu want to tune in high f-tuning there are two
possibilities
you by a separate string, lets say a Nylon about .55 mm thick
you buy a custon set exactly for your tuning
You can find such special sets in my shop http://www.music-strings.de
Through this URL:
Download aoud string set list
you can download my file about different aoud string sets.
Regards
Matthias
