is this a Fadel Hussein oud?
hello,
there is this offer in France, for which the seller says it is a Mohammed Fadel oud.
I'm don't know so much about Fadel family oud, and actually this one remind me of some Morocco ouds I've seen before.

He says the oud from 1976, but I'm surprised to see arm rest and extended fingerboard (ebony?). I don't think those features were usual at this
time.
What's your opinion about?
Thanks

I've seen numerous Fadel ouds with extended fingerboards, but I don't think this is one. The shape is off, the soundhole seems small, the pickguard
etc. don't match.
Oud Proff has posted two authentic Fadel ouds for sale:

It may be a nice oud, but if it is a Fadel, then I think it's been modified.

Apparently not ! All Fadel's oud are trade-marked with his special own-designed big rosette (11.5- 12 cm) with his name in. This one is much smaller;
so if the rosette could have been replaced, the hole would not get smaller !
This oud is apparently a Moroccan in which we may find on the soundboard a tear-like finish of the surrounding strip. It's called
TEAR in Morocco.
Isn't there a sticker inside ?
Yours indeed

Thanks both to your answer.
I thought also of the moroccan origin seeing this finishing on the soundboard.
Don't know about the label as I didn't saw the oud in person, will ask for it via email.
I'll keep update if he send a label.
Sincerely
