Hello everyone,

I once heard naseer shamma playing on future television a piece of music about a war story. I didn't know what it was until someone (hanhood) in the advice forum posted one of his CDs. After I saw the name of the song, al ameriyya, I knew right away that that was the song I heard. I have never heard a oud solo tell a story like this one. Parts of it made me shake all over and gave me goose bumps. For those of you who don't know about Al ameriyya, it's a refugee shelter that was bombed during the Gulf War. I recommend you read about it here before you listen to the song:
