Advice on Oud
Hi .. I'm interested in learning to play the Oud. Being just a beginner, I wanted something relatively inexpensive. After some research, I narrowed it
down to Sandi GK-15.
The question I have is, have any of you bought this model? If so, how has your experience been?
Also, did you have them ship by regular Turkish Postal Service and if so, were there any problems? (I live in the US)
Thanks a lot in advance for the help!

I had that exact model. It was a fantastic Oud to start with. I would recommend anyone starting out to get one of the Sandi student models, they are a
pleasure to play and of very high quality for the price. I was sad to let it go when the time came.
I bought mine in UK so postage wasn't an issue.

Thanks, Bodhi! That reassures me.
Has anyone else had any experience in having shipped from Sandi in Turkey?

I have. Cankaya (the Sandi shop ) is reliable but the shipping companies who receive the instrument in the usa can be problematic. I have sent you a
U2U with more details.
