Violin teachers in NJ area..
Hi all,
I'm looking for a violin teacher (arabic) in the NJ area for a friend of mine. I play oud myself so I can teach my friend some maqam theory but I
don't play violin (techniques etc.).
Does anybody know any violin teachers in the NJ/NY/PA area ? I know Simon Shaheen teaches sometimes but he's a bit too far in Brooklyn.
Any help is apreciated.

Bassam Saba is a great great teacher for all instruments. he's teaching somewhere in NYC. I don't know where, i'm out of touch with him now. say hi if
you meet him!
Go to him! i highly recommend.

Yes I know Bassam. He is truly a great musician with a lot of soul. I met a couple of times with Simon Shaheen. If anyone has a way of getting in
touch with him it would be apreciated if they can share it with me.
