Oud without the rosette
I was experiencing a buzz on my Viken made Oud that I couldn't seem to get rid off. It seemed to be coming from the larger rosette in the sound hole.
I popped it out and the buzz went away and I actually like the tone of the Oud much better now. More volume and deeper tone.
Has anyone else tried this?

Hey yeah, I had a turkish ud with laser-cut rose, and took it out to carve it, much cleaner & louder, I really liked it, but after doing such a
good job on the rose I had to put it back!
