Munir Bashir's Samai Nahawand

I'm actually working around the Samai nahawand from Munir Bashir ( sheet in Jamil Bashir fantastic Book n°1, page 71 ).
I like to learn from sheets and when the tune begins to be playable under my hands, I listen to the record or soundtrack to try to play in a good way an sensibility.
Also, on this sheet, I don't undestand clearly the samai construction, because codas stands only upon the lines ends. Does it mean that the taslim is played at first, before the first Hanna?
I didn't find this samai in the few Munir bashir's cd I own.
Someone could give me an help?
Thanks
Merci d'avance.
Francis

Hello Francis
I found this record of Jamil Bashir playing a nahawand samai on Zeryab forum. I don't know if this is the same than you are talking, but they were saying this one was available in his book.
Hope this help...and have a good practice.

Hello Francis and Suz_i_dil,

I think it's not this one.
I have a nice recording of Raed Khoshaba with his Baghdad Ensemble.
I'll try to send it tonight... or later.

Thanks Suz_i_dil and Microber.

No, I don't think this is the same one, no really same parts and phrases.....Merci quand même Suz_i_dil!
Microber, it would be great you send it. Baghdad Ensemble playing must be amazing on this samai.
J'attends avec impatience.;););)

Et voilà Francis et les autres.
A télécharger ici
Magnifique samai.
Je l'ai appris moi-même avec Raed Khoshaba qui était mon professeur il y a deux ans.
Bon amusement.

Robert,

C'est superbe.
Tu as les références du disque de Raed Khoshaba d'où tu l'as extrait?......Cà donne sacrément envie d'aller écouter plus loin!
