Trip to Andalucia
Hello everybody,
first of all I want to thank Mike for making all this happen.this site is an unmissable resource for all oudists.Especially for those of us who are
isollated from the rich oriental heritage....
I wanted to know if anybody can help me about making a trip this summer to Andalucia(Spain).Does any body can give me any informations concerning the
oud in Andalusia.For example is there any University with oriental music studies?are there any great oud builders or players?

I have been living in Andalucia for 33 years, have studied medicine and work in Andalucia, I am OUD Player, but, I feel to say you that in Andalucia
there are no Oud player of Spanish origin,and No Oud builder single some of Arabe origin (it is my case) in any case if you want contact with me I
gave when you are going to come and to aver if we can be seen.

andalucia
have a look at spain's early music scene. if you're interested in medieval/renaissance music, i suspect you'll have ample opportunity
to play your oud.
