Rhythm in Persian music

Hello,

I wrote another article after hearing a suggestion for this topic on this forum. Here it is, and it deals with Persian rhythms.

http://www.oudforguitarists.com/persian-rhythms/

If you have suggestions or thoughts, I would like to hear them.
Thanks

Hello

i regulary go back to your article, nice to keep in mind and practice rythms. It helps me to understand better the persian music system.
Just a feedback about pishdaramad. Listening on the web, I found it may be, for exemple, a 4/4 rythm
like here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4EJsarU--w

then i found this ressource, where they define it more like a prelude, but not only 3/4.
http://www.iranchamber.com/music/articles/iranian_classical_music.p...

just a detail though but thought it may interest you to get feedbacks

All the best
