Aquila nylgut strings on ouds
Hi,

I (UC Berkeley) ordered 5 ouds from Haluk and I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality. All 5 sound VERY good, have good action, and were
immediately playable. We ordered the "oud 3" model from him. He shipped very promptly and a huge crate arrived at SFO airport - packed well,
everything in great shape.
So if any of you are in the market for affordable Turkish ouds, Haluk is the man to email...
I've been hoping to post sound-clips but have been too busy... hopefully in early May!

Eliot, I second your
comments about Haluk's ouds! I have an oud2 from him, and have aquilas on it. The oud sounds great.
