"Pro Syrian oud?" My uncle is Maronite--does that mean I can only play an Anti Syrian oud?  )

yeah this is a nice one
my oud-guru in casablanca has an oud made by ibrahim sukar from allepo also. and it sounds excelent very warm bass responce. it is such a pleassure
for me to play with it when i'm in his house
jameel ibrahim member of this great forums has repaired an oud like this
in the past he gave us a movie link after repairing it sounds great also

Hello
Thanks Mourd for the link. The gentleman in the thread did a great job on the 3ood. It looks really nice. I dont know if u share my opinion with
me, but I think that if he removed and extra rib, the newer ribs will have a more symmetrical appearance. The light colored ribs will be exactly in
the middle of the back. Never the less, it is a work of art.

you will find a good teacher in the Conservatory of Music in Casablanca
witch is in Boulevard Paris (down town casablanca) "inschallah"
but in august may the have closed (?)

The bid page said reserve met and its states 329naomi as the winner, so i guess someone might have won the bid. It is a very nice oud. I bet it
sounds really nice.
