Yes, it was done with al di meola, paco de lucia and John Mc Laughlin (not sure about this one) in the live concert Friday Night in San Francisco (or
in california?). The pink panther theme idea is so often used! It is an immortal theme. I find it overall a good CD though boring somehow.

That's the interesting thing about this video....
It starts with a cool pink the panther theme and somehow makes the uneasy transition to the world of the improvised maqam.
