I want to learn how to play, 1st i need to buy the right Oud
Hello Everyone,
I have never played a Oud but i have loved the music ever since i can remember. My favorite player is Marcel Khalife. I would like to buy the right
Oud to begin my learning process. I would like an Oud that sounds great, but is still good for a beginner like me. As well, i would like it to have
the same tone and sound as a Oud played by Marcel Khalife. Can anyone help direct me to really good quality Ouds for beginners that can be shipped to
Canada.
Thank-you.
p.s. this is my first posting ever and i really love this forum

Also, before you waste money buying something from Lark in the Morning or Mid-East designs, check out the buy and sell ouds section of this forum.
I recently bought a Sukar Oud from SamirCanada and was really happy with the purchase. And he put a sound file up for the oud as well.... So if
you're looking for an instrument with a specific tone, then the forums might be a good place to look.
Also, if you're looking on Ebay - do a search of the seller on this forum... From the limited time I've been on the board, it seems like the folks
here really know a lot about all things Oud related.
