I highly recommend visiting veysel muzik in Istanbul. I was there recently and was very impressed and you absolutely shouldn't miss this place. Its
also quite easy to get there by the tramway, only a few minutes away from Sultanahmet. (you can also walk there if you feel like walking).
check their website http://www.veyselmuzik.com

I recommend you to visit Mr Faruk workshop in Istanbul.
A bit difficult to find but a taxi can easily take you there. I don't know for the eid, take contact with him.
He work on command, but anyway you may try ouds he made for a command or sometimes he have second hand ouds.
He is more than a great oud maker, those instruments are incredible to my ears.
And no misunderstanding, he is not the maker from who I was speaking in my thread around a broken oud ( anyway this oud is a floating bridge, I don't
think Mr Faruk make this kind of oud).
