I do - I belong to a historical group.
Not too bad - except when wearing one of my silk kaftans - the fabric is a bit slippery, and he oud walks about on my lap...

Great pictures guys! I love it when Uncle Bill posts...one of my all time favorite members. You all are great, but I think Bill has made me laugh the
most over the years with his humor and wit.

I usually avoid dressing up in full Arabic clothing for my gigs (to avoid offending and not provoke charges of "Orientalism"), but I make occasional
exceptions. I usually wear a fez with my black & white striped Jordanian djellaba...looks Moroccan-ish. BTW, I ALWAYS were a necktie with the
djellaba to assert the dignity of the attire.
Peace,
John

Oh...believe me...I would wear a djellaba to my office "day job" every day if I could!
All the best,
John
P.S. Prior to the Iraq War, I wore an Egyptian galabiyya to the office a couple of times on Halloween.
P.P.S. Sammy: Since you are a Ben Teiman, you are entitled to dress that way!
