Looks to me like a dumbek, or something a lot like one. No idea what they call them in Yemen. Shouldn't be too hard to get one at a good music store
or online.
Anybody else?

It's variously called a darabuka, derbuka or dumbek. In Egypt it's called a tabla - not to be confused with Indian tabla. Iran has a similar drum
called the tombak.
There are two types, the Egyptian or Alexandrian type with a rounded rim - this is the most common type - and the Turkish type which has a squared
rim.
Both types are played in a similar way, tho' Turkish technique is more sophisticated. Furthermore, both types are readily available in Western Europe
and North America.
