Lyrics: Ala ein mulayeteen ?

Anyone have lyrics to the song "Ala ein mulayeteen"
Arabic would be ok but transliteration/translation would be preferable.

I'm aware that its an old Iraqi folk song and I know the chourus:
Ala ein mulayeteen wa tnash mulaya, Jisr el hadeen yinkita min dus rijlaya.
sometimes its titled "ala ein munaya" vs Mulaya. what is a mulaya?

Transliterated , words are slightly different to what you have there...

Ya ein mullayatein wethnaash mullaya
jesrel hadid engeta min dos rejlaia

wetgool saboni wetgool saboni
maraw alial eda webel ein saboni
law kataooni keta walwah saboni
maheed an eshrertak enta ya enaya

bas terooh o bas teji mnel ein tesgini
kan elgaleb yertewi o hamak yesalini
sayad ani kenet o shlon settini
wel ein sood ekhala weshefa wardya

wesadet fog ejebal welket lamathom
kolhom amayim khodoor yamahla lamathom
yamta yeser el aser waseer chanathom
walbas hdoom el eres wahani edaya

Thank you so much Sazi! That's a tremendous help!

My Arabic is limited to colloquial Egyptian. What's the possibility you can translate or provide the general meaning. Is a mullaya the pupil of the eye?

Thanks again,

Adel Ibrahim

PS this clip is very interesting with Samira Tawfic and appears to have another set of lyrics.

No, it is a very old word, not really in use anymore I think, but it is to do with the Mullash, (from Mulla) maybe something about having the respect of the Mulla? Maybe someone else can help more?
