replacement cost of Sukar 211
I'm updating the insurance on my instruments and was wondering if anyone knows the replacement cost of a Sukar model 211 oud. That would be the cost
of buying a new one. Thanks. -Roy

Buy it where? There are all sorts of possibilities, but Arabinstruments.com sells the 211 and 212 for $899 or $925 without a hard case, plus shipping,
when they have them. There's a 213 on ebay for $995 with hard case, plus $80 shipping. I wonder if the most expensive Sukars will continue to be
readily available, there are rumors about his focusing on the mass market and Iran. To be safe i would insure for $1200 with case, and even that might
be low, if you want to guarantee replacement.
