Hello my brothers in OUD:-)
Munir Bashir had an arabic music band named Bayarik, with great percussion, 7 ouds, 4 kanuns...
Does any body know if this Groups, did any recordings?

Yes.... in radio Bagdad Existe the recordings of several festivales. After the destruction of Bagdad, I do not know if it is left something of these
recordings or it has happened to them just like the museum of Bagdad.

It's an important clue you give me here. maybe Omar the son of Mounir does have these recordings...I'll try to get in contact with him
For Bagdad..I also read on Omar's web site (http://www.omarbashir.hu) that a lot of Munir's work went on fire...
