First, you must catch a Kanuna. During the chase, be careful not to confuse it with the Nauga (the source of natural Naugahyde), Kanunas are smaller
and generally thinner.
Seriously, one of my kanun playing friends suggests you might try either Peter Kyvelos in Belmont, MA, or the Turhan Tezzeli kanun shop in Istanbul.

Well the advantage of getting those Naugas' skin would be that "could shed their skin without harm to the animal...", another wikileak.
Good to re-read your own posts sometimes to see how they sound. hehe
It's for my Syrian kanun.. I'll get in contact with Peter to see what he suggests.
