New member "davehill' has asked me to upload some pictures of one of his ouds in the hope that someone may be able to tell him something about the
maker. To me, the pegbox says it all.

The maker is MUWAFAK KHALIFE and son, date : 1/1/1997 Damasco.

Hi Dave, my remark was a little unkind, sorry. As you know, I converted the higher resolution photos for uploading, so I had the opportunity to
inspect the photos in full resolution. I formed the opinion that, if the peg box was an indication of the quality of workmanship of the rest of the
instrument, then the instrument would have little to commend it.

It is student but rather rare to find syrian oud
The sound is also typical syrian
