woods used in Sukar 211


Does anyone know what types of wood are used in the bowel and fingerboard of the Sukar model 211 oud? Thanks. -Roy

I think it's black walnut for the bowel. perhaps the same for the fingerboard ?

I don't think it's Black Walnut . Sukkar wouldn't resque using black walnut because it would cost a fortune :D.

I think sukkar is using ziricote wood for the bowl and other Oud parts . I'm not sure though. check this out :
