what are the oud tunings in the servet vcd #1
hey all,
Here is an interresting one for you. To those who has the servet series (ie vcd #1-4) of oud instruction could any of you tell me what the tunings
of the students oud since I am having a hard time trying to match the sounds between my oud and what is being played on the vcd.

Turkish tuning
Most Turkish tunings have BEAD for the last 4 strings, so that's probably the Servet tuning as well

What are these VCDs?
I haven't heard of these VCDs. Where can I get them? What did they cost? How is the quality?

There are 4 volumes, the first of which has been translated into English. Haluk sells them, so you could contact him. Or, you could get them from
