What do you think... is $16,500 worth it???
This is the highest priced oud I have seen advertised, what do you think? The pickguard dosen't look like the ones on other Nahats.. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/msg/3555887595.html

That is definitely not a Nahat pickguard, and the rest of the instrument a) looks newer than 1938, and b) doesn't really look like a Nahat (though
it's hard to tell much with such terrible pictures).
I know of genuine ouds that sold for more, though

And it appears that someone has attached a pickup to the face (!), which has a good chance of having caused some damage due to the adhesive used.
