My birthday present
My wife just gave me this for my birthday. It is made of parts from my Nahat, before Richard restored it, and other mementos.

Alan,
Very nice. What can you tell us about the men in the photographs and Toufic Ajhar. I recall an oud on ebay some time ago that may have been an
Ajhar.
Thanks.

Jameel,
Toufic Ajhar was an oud maker in Brooklyn NY. He did a re-make , can't call it a restoration, of my father's 1902 Hana Nahat back in 1960.
The face was made to resemble a Georges Nahat.
The picture in the center is my father in 1940 playing the oud in I assume it's original format. The bottom center picture is my father with my
son in 1987. The picture at the lower left is a copy of the picture of Hana Nahat from inside the oud. The picture at the top right is your's
truely. Richard Hankey did a fantastic restoration in 2001.
