Ud Taksimleri - The Art of Ud - Ru?en Y?lmaz

I know nothing about this Turkish udist, Ru?en Y?lmaz, but I find this recording quite impressive. I find his taksim phrasing especially lyrical.

Here is the full album on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA_42SUGDoc&t=2s&ab_channel=...

I find that album of taksim particularly surprising in light of the fact that most of his material available on-line seems to be recordings of him singing folkloric songs, with ud accompaniment, e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmOEpLebHSg&ab_channel=%C5%9Eahi...

Does anyone have any substantial biographic information about him?

Well I couldn't find real biographical info either, but scrolling through his recordings on qobuz https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/interpreter/rusen-y-lmaz/1207273 i noticed at least one taksim in garip hicaz, plus some pictures of him playing cümbüs, and as far as I know those both point towards a Roma origin and style for Yilmaz. And stylistically he does seem not too far from Ergin Kizilay, the only other example of 'modern Roma' style I've spent much time listening to (incidentally his solo oud taksim recording is one of my favorites).
