Ouds and tone

Hi all,

I've noticed something about the different ouds i've played over time. There's some ouds and those are the rare ones (almost never the case) that no matter what style I play on them they stay in tune. Most of the ouds that I'ved played and the one I currently own immediately go out of tune if I decide to get a bit aggressive with the risha, similar to the Egyptian style of playing. Why is this the case? Is it just the ouds that i've come across, excuse the french, are built like dogshoot (which is honestly how I feel sometimes lol)? It's actually kind of annoying.
