Micarta
Anybody know of a source for 1/16 inch white linen micarta? I've got a week off of work coming up, and I want to start carving some rosettes (I gave
up on the laser cut idea for now).
I've scrambled the net, but I can't find the white/ivory micarta.
I tried tru-grit. I tried Texas knife. No luck.
I just glued some mahogany veneer over 1/16 inch plywood, just in case I can't find the micarta, but, really, I am not wild about the look of wood for
the rosettes.
