Hi Folks... this is the second instrument I ever build - completed in 2001. It is a combination of a SARod, a GAMbri, and a guiTAR. Hense the name
"sar-gam-tar" [also SARGAM in Hindi means scale].
I am selling this instrument along with several other instruments I have build or gathered over the years in my stash in Vancouver. These instruments
should be played, and I am not playing them - I keep building new and different ones......
The Sargamtar has a very powerful and resonant sound --- when listening to this clip keep in mind that in the last 7 years this instrument has not
been touched or played.... I just changed a few strings and rattled off this clip - when it is played regularly the resonants opens up majorly.
My guess is that some adventurous musician will be the next owner - - - perhaps someone who will put in a piezo pickup and paint it pink or
something??? :-D
