Could anyone who knows how to play this song tell me which chord to play around the 4th measure of the intro? I can't seem to figure it out.

Thank you Greg. That has been the piece I have been using, though in his transcription he only provides a whole note C to be played three times,
whereas it seems that all other covers of the song I have seen (including from excellent oud players) play a chord there instead.

Sorry Ahmed, I misunderstood your question.
I would suggest a C minor chord would be most appropriate.

They play a C minor chord, from bass to treble : C, bE, g, c

My transcription was intended to be very basic. This is a very simple song which is an excellent vehicle for embellishment, and for studying how
accomplished Arabic-style oud players embellish simpler-type melodies. There are many recordings on YouTube (I recall watching one of Naseer Shamma
playing a solo medley of Bint El Shalabiyya and Lamouni Li Gharo Meni [Tunisian song]). I often play that C minor chord myself. In fact, if you are
in the San Francisco Bay Area, I will hope to be performing a version of this song on Jan. 22 with a singer, ney player, and very good Moroccan
percussionist. I will post about that performance (FREE event) separately.
