Hi there,
anyone have knowledge of a book that features pictures, or diagrams that show the Turkish makam positions? I do not read notation, so therefore
Torun`s book is not useful.
There is one book out now with Arabic positions, and examples given in sketches and video. How about Turkish?
Maybe a website where I can download them?

Hola Renato- Check out Oud Proffs CD/DVD- its packed with useful information and shows where and how to finger many maqams on your oud. Its for Arabic
tuning but should be useful for Turkish as well, just transpose up a tone.
